Brook Kelly, HIV Human Rights Attorney

I am the HIV Human Rights Attorney for WORLD’s National Positive Women’s Network, and work with our WORLD staff and the incredibly gifted women in the National Positive Women’s Network to increase HIV-positive women’s access to justice, and to help ensure equality and freedom from discrimination in the United States using a human rights framework. After graduating from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington DC, I was a judicial clerk in the United States Court for the Southern District of New York for the Honorable Judge Ronald L. Ellis, and subsequently, a Georgetown Women’s Law and Public Policy Fellow supported by the Ford Foundation to work on issues of human rights, women and HIV/AIDS in Washington D.C. Currently I am based in New York City.
