My work at WORLD involves providing therapeutic support and a mental health presence for the peer support groups.
I am a drama therapist and a graduate of The Psychotherapy Institute, a post-graduate advanced training program in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.
As a therapist I see my work as building on the inner strength and resilience of humans in the face of challenge and hardship.
I have worked in the area of trauma previously with underserved women with Cancer for 15 years at The Charlotte Maxell Complementary Clinic. I also worked with elder Holocaust survivors and have worked extensively with trauma and bereavement in my clinical work.
I also bring to my work an interest in exploring the profound effects of oppression, violence, and injustice on mental health and individual well-being.
I am honored to be a part of the community at WORLD.
