About 12,000 of these women live in California.

The 2008 Conference participants will include community activists, social workers, health care providers, mental health professionals and other HIV professionals, as well as people living with HIV/AIDS. We plan to provide excellent multi-level education and training opportunities targeted to attendees with beginning-to-advanced levels of knowledge and skills. Continuing education credits will also be available.

AIDSWatch participants help to educate Legislators on the need for improved healthcare and treatment accessibility, science and evidence based prevention, as well as make the case for the need to increase appropriations and access to effective services such as Medicaid, ADAP, HOPWA, and RWCA.
