WORLD had the good fortune of having a PSA produced for us by local filmmaker Arturo Delgadillo, who produced similar videos for other local agencies that help women navigate resources related to HIV/AIDS. This video was awarded 1st place by viewers at the East Bay AIDS Center Conference last Friday, in Oakland, California. Watch:
WORLD has been the link to care and treatment for me. I felt so all alone when first told of my status, but after meeting the women that were coming to WORLD for for their support I have a full and healthy life. I will never be able to pay them back but to keep advocating for myself and the next women who walks into our doors.
