I just heard this evening that Claire died last month. My sympathy to everyone. Please let me know when there will be a service. Claire was my doctor for 7 years including my first year in Reno and words can not express the time, effort, research, even tasting Norvir when it was in liquid form, understanding how terrible it was to take 2 x's a day. I am heart broken. She gave her life for so many of us that we would have life. I am thankful that I stopped in to see her last Fall and catch up a little, thanking her for saving my life. Claire always focused on the possibilities, the positives, Thank You Claire, I miss you, love from Reno

I met Claire in the early days of EBAC when she treated my baby sister, Elizabeth. As a doctor, she exemplified the true nature of both care and giving. As a person, she went above and beyond the duty, accompanying us on the difficult, frightening, and unknown journey of living and dying with AIDS. Those of us who were blessed to have known her, can speak to her passion, commitment, ferocity of spirit, as well as her willingness to put her patients above all else. Claire, we will miss you. May you always have the wind at your back. God speed...
